Exclusive pet boarding facility in Whitchurch

Don’t worry about your pets when you go away anymore. Enjoy your holiday without worrying how your pets are getting on, leave them with us at Bank House Farm Boarding Kennels and Cattery.

What you need to know when your pets are with us

  •  It must be clearly understood that animals are boarded purely at the owner's risk
  • All animals must be fully inoculated and boosters must be up to date. Certificates of inoculations must be shown upon arrival. We strongly recommend that you have your dog inoculated against canine infectious bronchitis. We suggest you discuss this matter with your veterinary surgeon as this is caused by a complex virus/bacteria only some of which respond to the vaccination. If you decide to have this inoculation, it must be done at least three weeks prior to arriving at the kennels.
  • Whilst in our care, dogs or cats will not be allowed visitors, as past experience has shown that this usually upsets the animal.
  • Charges commence from the morning of the day of arrival until noon on the day of collection. Unless a pre-noon collection is guaranteed, your invoice will include a charge for the day of collection
  • Full payment on arrival, cash or cheque only made payable to 'Bank House Kennels'
  • All dates booked will be charged and under no circumstances will refunds be given
  • Any extra charges will be payable before the removal of the animal from the premises
  • Animals left for fourteen days after departure date without communication will be considered abandoned
  • A £30 non-returnable deposit per animal is required for peak periods - Easter, Christmas, New Year and Bank Holidays
  • Any medicines will be given as per instructions to animals boarding with us, all medicines must be brought in original bottles or packaging with official written administration instructions on them. Owners will be asked to complete a medicines form on arrival
  • Please note, dog or cats showing signs of a contagious disease i.e. Ringworm, Fox Mange etc, will not be accepted for boarding
  • Failure to arrive on the date booked will result in the reservation being cancelled and the full boarding fee charged. Any bookings cancelled for our peak period will incur a £30 cancellation fee unless cancelled at least three weeks before the date that boarding is due to begin. Refunds will NOT be given for early returns
  • No animals will be accepted into the kennels or cattery without an emergency contact name, telephone number and address
  • On arrival you will be asked what your pet is fed on. Although we stock a vast choice of pet foods, it is your responsibility to make sure we stock what your pet is fed on. We strongly recommend your pet be kept on the same diet. If we do not stock the food you feed, we would normally request you bring enough for the duration of your pet's stay.
